Over the years, I've noticed that it’s the people who really “get plugged in” that soar in their walk with the Lord. In 1 Corinthians 12:27 the Bible says, “now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” In light of this wonderful truth, thank you for your willingness to actively play your part by serving.
Through the grace of God, Calvary Chapel is able to touch the lives of many people. To help ensure that staff and volunteers are above reproach and to protect those who serve, as well as those being served, everyone who wishes to serve at Calvary Chapel must complete this Serving Application packet. However, before you
begin there are a few things I wanted to discuss with you.
All volunteers are subject to a background check and may be required to be fingerprinted. If you have a previous record, it will not necessarily prevent you from serving; however it may impact the area in which you can serve. Although this Serving Application requests a photo, we will not require you to provide one at this time. Once you are called to serve, we may take your photo for our records. The processing of all documents, including the fingerprinting, will be done by designated Calvary Chapel staff and kept confidential. In addition, leadership requires that you regularly attend Calvary Chapel services for a minimum of six months prior to serving. Your cooperation and understanding for the necessity of these requirements is greatly appreciated.
Once you have completed this Serving Application packet, please put it in the Office Drop Box located at the Info Center in the Main Lobby, or you may drop it off at our Office during normal business hours.
Again, thank you for your heart to serve and I encourage you to seek our Father as to where He would want you to best serve the body of Christ.
